[subject] + 也 + [verb] / [adjective] [subject] + 也 + 不 / 没 + [verb]
也 means "also". It goes after the subject and before the verb, and it never moves.
English puts "too" at the end of the sentence. Doing that in Chinese gives wǒ我shì是xué sheng学生Yě也, which is wrong.
也 comes before 不 or 没, not after.
也 points at the subject by default: 我也去 means someone else is going and so am I. To say you are doing a second thing rather than being a second person, the sentence has to make that clear elsewhere.
Both are pre-verbal adverbs, and 也 goes first: 我们也都是学生.
