[thing] + 多少钱? [number] + 块 + [number] + 毛 + [number] + 分
多少钱 asks a price. It goes where the predicate goes, with no verb in front of it.
块 is the yuan, 毛 is a tenth of it, 分 a hundredth. 元, 角 and 分 are the written forms that appear on receipts and price tags.
三块五 is understood as 三块五毛. The final unit is left off unless it would be ambiguous.
Once the subject makes it obvious that money is involved, 钱 is often left out: 这本书多少?
The price of a unit takes 一 plus the measure word.
