[subject] + (很) + 好 + [verb]
[subject] + (很) + 难 + [verb]
好 before a verb makes an adjective: the thing is easy to do. The subject is the thing being done – the place found, the word written – not the person doing it.
With a verb of the senses, 好 means pleasant rather than easy. These have become everyday adjectives: 好吃 "tasty", 好喝 "nice to drink", 好看 "good-looking", 好听 "nice to listen to", 好玩 "fun".
难 + verb is the opposite, "hard to" or unpleasant, and has its own point.
好 + verb takes 很, 太…了, 不 and 比 like any other adjective. 不好 + verb means "not easy to".
