[subject] + 再 + [adjective] + 不过了
再 + [adjective] + 不过的 + [noun]
再 + adjective + 不过了 means "it couldn't be more [adjective]". The adjective sits between 再 and 不过, and 了 closes the sentence. It is a strong, slightly formal way to say "extremely".
The adjective is usually a judgement about how fitting, clear or ordinary something is: 好, 合适, 清楚, 简单, 方便, 正常. 那就再好不过了 is a set reply to an offer or good news.
Before a noun, 了 becomes 的.
再…不过 already gives the highest degree, so the adjective takes no 很 or 非常. 再 can't be left out either: 好不过了 alone doesn't say anything.
This 不过 keeps an older sense, "go beyond": nothing goes beyond this. The 不过 that means "but" is a separate word.
