[subject] + 值得 + [verb]
[subject] + 值得 + [person] + [verb]
(很 / 不) 值得
值得 before a verb says the thing is worth doing. The thing comes first as the topic, and 值得 takes the verb after it.
一看, 一试, 一去 – a verb with 一 in front – are the common short forms: "worth a look", "worth a try".
A person can go between 值得 and the verb: worth us learning from, worth you worrying about.
值得 can end the sentence, with 很 or 不 in front: "it's worth it", "it isn't worth it".
A price takes 值 on its own. 值得 is followed by a verb, never by an amount of money.
