なりとも

なりとも means "even just", "at least": it follows a small quantity – すこし少し, ひとつ一つ, いちもく一目, わずか – and says that even that much would be worth having. The sentence usually ends in a wish or a request.

With a negative, it means "not even": いちびょう一秒なりともむだにしたくない無駄にしたくない, "I don't want to waste even a single second".

なりとも or でも

なりとも is formal and written: letters, speeches, polite set phrases. In everyday speech, でも says the same thing after a quantity.

After a question word

After なん何, どこ or いつ, なりとも means "any… at all". なん何なりと, the shorter form, is the usual set phrase in shops and service work.
