[subject] + 姑且 + [verb phrase]
姑且不论 / 姑且不谈 + [noun],[clause]
姑且 + 称之为 + [noun]
姑且 accepts something for now while leaving room to change your mind: "for the time being", "let's just". It goes before the verb, and the sentence often implies "though I have my doubts" or "until something better turns up".
In an argument, 姑且不论 or 姑且不谈 puts one issue to one side so the writer can press another.
姑且称之为, "let's call it X for now", names something that has no settled name yet.
暂且 is about time: "for the moment, until later". 姑且 adds reluctance – you're accepting something you aren't fully happy with.
姑且 goes before the verb, after the subject, never at the end where English puts "for now".
