[subject] + [verb] + 了又 + [verb]
[subject] + 把 + [object] + [verb] + 了又 + [verb]
V了又V repeats a verb to say the action was done again and again. It describes something that has happened, so 了 is always there, and it often leads to a result in the next clause.
Two-syllable verbs work too.
Nothing can sit between the two verbs, so the object moves to the front: after 把, or to the start of the sentence as the topic.
Because of the 了, the pattern can't ask for future repetition. For "again and again" in an instruction, use 一遍又一遍 or 多.
