[subject] + 越来越 + [adjective] + (了)
[subject] + 越来越 + [verb] + [object]
[subject] + [verb] + 得 + 越来越 + [adjective]
越来越 says a quality keeps growing as time passes. It goes in front of an adjective, and a 了 at the end marks the change as already under way.
Verbs of feeling and wanting take it too.
A negative goes after 越来越, as in the last example: 越来越不想, "less and less keen".
To say an action is done faster, better or worse over time, 越来越 goes after 得, not in front of the verb.
越来越 already carries the degree, so 很, 非常 and 更 drop out.
Before a noun, 多 or 少 takes 的: 越来越多的人, "more and more people".
When one change drives another ("the more you practise, the better you get"), use 越…越.
