いかにも

いかにも means "truly", "every bit": something looks or comes across exactly the way that kind of thing is expected to. It goes in front of what it describes, and most often leans on a word about appearance – らしい, そう, というかんじ感じ.

いかにも or とても

とても says how much. いかにも says how well something fits a type or an impression, so the sentence is about how it looks, sounds or feels. For a plain "very", use とても.

"As if"

With ように or かのように, いかにも describes a show someone puts on: they act as though something were true, and the speaker doubts it.

"Indeed" as an answer

On its own, いかにも answers yes: "indeed", "quite so". This is old-fashioned and theatrical, the speech of period dramas and of characters who talk grandly. In ordinary conversation the answer is はい or そうです.

いかに without も is a different word, the written "how": いかにたいせつ大切か is "how important it is".
