まで

The particle まで is used to indicate the endpoint of an action or state in terms of time or location. It is often translated as "until", "to", or "as far as" in English.

  Indicates the final destination or limit of movement.

  えき駅まではしります走ります。

  I run to the station.

• Endpoint in time ("until")

  Indicates the time up to which an action or state continues.

  ごご午後ごじ5時まではたらきます働きます。

  I work until 5 p.m.

• To the extent/even

  まで can express the extent or degree to which something happens, often translated as "even" or "to the point of."

  なみだがでる涙が出るまでわらいました笑いました。

  I laughed to the point of tears.
  こども子供までしっています知っています。

  Even children know.
