- にっぽん日本におけるだいひょうてき代表的なでんせつじょう伝説上のせいぶつ生物。きょうりょく強力なちから力をゆうし有し、ぼうりょくてき暴力的でれいこく冷酷ひじょう非情とされる。すがた姿は、かど角をゆうし有し、きば牙をたくわえ、とら虎のふんどし褌のみはんら半裸で、ぜんしん全身あか赤または又はあお青のものがげんだい現代ではいっぱんてき一般的。よのなか世の中にさいやく災厄をあたえる与えるようかい妖怪としてのそんざい存在のた他、じごく地獄のごくそつ獄卒とされる。
