切りがない【きりがない】

切りがない means "there's no end to it": once you start the action, it could go on forever. きり切り is a stopping point. It usually follows a conditional in たら or ば, and is often written in kana, きりがない.

It is usually said as a reason to stop: to drop a worry, cut a list short, or get on with something else.

After a て-form with も, it says the action gets you nowhere however much of it you do.
