The app can download the dictionary and the free lessons, and keep a copy of your decks and progress, so they work without a connection.

Downloading the content
Account → Offline Data has two downloads per language. Offline content holds the dictionary with its stroke order, the free courses with their lessons and grammar, the ready-made decks and the library texts. Meanings in your language holds the meanings, example sentences and translated courses, grammar and decks in your language of explanations. Paid courses are not included. The app offers both when you first open it.
When you change your language of explanations, the app downloads Meanings in your language again for the new language and keeps Offline content as it is.
Remove deletes it from the phone. Large updates ask before they download.
Your data
Signed in, Offline access under Your data keeps a copy of your decks, vocabulary and review progress on the phone. It is updated whenever you are online.
